StrongHER TogetHER, a Durham-based nonprofit, equips girls with the tools, relationships, and confidence to grow into powerful changemakers and community leaders.

Rooted in mentorship and social-emotional learning, the organization offers free, year-round programs that spark connection across lines of difference – from anti-racism dialogue and mental wellness to literacy and college access.

Since 2017, StrongHER TogetHER has been building a movement of young women who are ignited by possibility and emboldened by their collective strength.

The Challenge

After pandemic-era momentum, StrongHER TogetHER faced the challenge of shifting attention and funding, forcing the Durham nonprofit to rethink sustainable growth.

The organization needed to strengthen infrastructure, expand engagement, and align operations with impact.

The Approach

Over her four years with the organization – including three as Board Chair – Quinn provided hands-on strategic leadership and day-to-day support across nearly every facet of the organization.

This engagement spanned Q.E.N.’s six service offerings and directly impacted the org’s operational foundation, brand awareness, and donor strategy.

The Outcome

Through this multi-year partnership, StrongHER TogetHER emerged as a more professional, strategic, and sustainable organization.

The ED now has greater strategic clarity, improved support systems, and a refreshed digital presence to complement ST’s incredible programming. And while operational capacity remains a challenge, as it is for many grassroots nonprofits, this foundation enables ST to move forward with more structure and confidence.
